Continue reading »]]> All our members, their families and friends are invited to come and celebrate Easter Day with us on Sunday, 8th of April from 12.30 to 4.30pm. There will be an excellent four course meal of seafood cocktail, ravioli, chicken breast, veal scaloppine with mushroom sauce, desert and a fruit platter. Continue reading »]]> Dear Members and Friends of the Reggio Calabria Club

As we approach the Easter period for 2012, we are reminded again of the sacrifices and trouble that our Savior Jesus Christ endured at the hands of the Roman and Jewish community at the time during Easter. No man could endure the pain and suffering that was inflicted upon such a person and if so, to still retain his compassion for others and extend his forgiveness to those who inflicted such pain. In the end one of the many lessons that this act of compassion and the eventual resurrection shows us, is that no matter what trouble lies ahead of us there is always hope for something better and we will rise from the trouble as long as we focus on that hope and during our journey to that hope, in our daily lives, we should practice the compassion and forgiveness that Easter represents to us.

As a community we band together under the umbrella of our Club and amongst ourselves we should help each other in an effort for all of us to rise above our daily troubles and concerns to better our lives.

I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a Happy and Safe Easter.

Please become involved in the many activities that the Club will be hosting during this time, in particular the Easter Lunch and the Soccer Oval work bee that we will be having on the soccer ground followed by the workers bbq. Please look out for the notice board as to the scheduled time of these events and if not contact our office staff.
